We love to prepare your dinner for the entire week or just a couple of nights or perhaps you would just like breakfast brought in each day. It is up to you!
Your Chalet host
The chalet hosts, attentive when you need them invisible when you don't. We will be there to ensure that your boots are warmed, your glass is filled and that you always come home to a roaring fire.
Bespoke Menu
We prepare breakfast with newspaper, afternoon tea, dinner, free house wines & beers. We offer four course fine dining with an emphasis on quality and locally sourced ingredients followed by tea/coffee. We will contact you pre-arrival for your requirements.

Basile - a french excellent chef & person, is offering his excellent services to customers who want to enjoy the most of their holiday with high food quality expectations. With great thanks to Basile for the pictures and being our main chef for the year 2011 & 2012 and 2013.
Mathieu Rostaing-Tayard
Chef Mathieu Rostaing-Tayard was born in Lyon and trained in Paris, London, Bordeaux and Chamonix (Le Bec, Briffard, Gagnaire, Portos, Carrier). This young chef (he’s not yet 30) opened his first restaurant in 2009 in the heart of the 6th arrondissement of Lyon: the “126,” where diners enjoy his bold, elegant cuisine.
Zoé
Zoe always use the finest freshest ingredients available. All poultry and eggs are free-range, with top quality French beef and lamb, fresh seafood, fine cheeses, and seasonal/ local vegetables wherever possible. Special diets can be catered for, and a reasonable selection of organic produce is available if you prefer a mainly organic diet.
Transfers
Car hire from Geneva is very easy to organise but if you prefer not to drive then we recommend taking a transfer package. It is wonderful value for a group and this way you don't have to worry about driving at all.
Airport Transfer
Hassle-free, it is great value for a group and you don't have to worry about organising this transfer. We will take care of it and work together with Haute Transfer. Airport Geneva private return transfers (8 persons) 400,- euro's include refreshments for clients (soft drinks, water, and Kronenbourg 1664) & the best services of the valley.
In resort Transfer
We will drive you around in our Bibendum 8 seater mini bus and can give you daily drop-off and pickup from ski slopes, a night out on the town, shopping or a day trip to Courmayeur in Italy or to Verbier in Switzerland.

We work with Nicolas and his team of Sanglard Sports. They know the importance of having the right equipment and provide excellent services.

Jules and Damien, 2 World Cup technicians will welcome you and help you in your choise of boots and have the most modern ski workshop in the valley. They have top quality equipment, free delivery and pick up of rental equipment to and from Chalet Bibendum.

Skidoo - Italy
Leaving Chamonix at approx 5 pm, we reach the foot of the Italian slopes of Courmayeur and travel by skidoo to the very best regional Italian restaurant.
Snowracer night-sled downhill
With family, friends or colleagues, come and discover an amazing night. Meet at the parking where a tracked polar waits for you for a 20-minute climb to the refuge. Up there a traditional meal will be served followed by the unforgettable night-sled downhill in the light of headlamps and moonlight.
Husky sledding
Be in charge of your own sled and team of excitable husky dogs, driving them along forest paths. After a brief explanation of how to make your team stop and start (you shout "mush!"), and strict instructions not to let go of the sled if it turns over (the dogs would disappear for hours...), you set off following the guide’s team.

Ski Joering
Ski joering is the original drag-lift. Before Pomas, chairlifts and cable cars were installed in the mountains the only tow to be found was either behind dogs or horses.

Chamonix winter
Chamonix is the oldest ski resort in France, and is a haven for advanced skiing and snowboarding and by mountain lovers of all types. - 150km of pistes (310 km with the Mont-Blanc ski pass)
Le Brévent/ La Flégère 1095m - 2525m.
Offering south-facing slopes and exceptional views of the Mont-Blanc chain - Large pistes of all levels. Plently of cat tracks, natural kickers & obstacles make La Flégère a great place for perfecting tricks. It offers great off piste opportunities for powder lovers. Linked to Le Brévent by horizontal cable car.
Chamonix Le Pass
Chamonix Le Pass gives you access to the four main areas of the Chamonix valley and enables you to enjoy the slopes of La Flegere, Le Brevent , Grands Montets and Le Tour (Domaine de Balme). The 'Top' ticket of Grands Montets is not included on this pass and must be purchased separately for each trip.
Mont Blanc Unlimited pass
In order to enjoy a wider ski area the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass allows access to the main 4 ski areas plus Les Houches, unlimited 'Top' tickets to the Grands Montets, The Aiguille du Midi and Courmayeur, Italy (The ski area on the Italian side of Mont Blanc). A six or more day pass will also give access to Verbier, Switzerland.
Family pass
For 2 adults paying public rate and your first child pays full youth rate and the other children ski for free! . This offer is for Chamonix Le Pass and Mont-Blanc Unlimited passes only).
Insurance
Lift pass insurance from just 2.70€ a day, In case of an accident on the slopes, are you sure of: 1 . being covered for search and rescue, plus first stage of transport 2 . medical cover with repatriation costs if necessary 3 . refund of ski passes in the event of unfavourable weather

Paradis des Praz
Paradis des Praz is an idyllic spot along a stream with an outdoor play area for kids both in summer and winter. In summer there are ponies, a sledge run, an aerial runway, a small lake for swimming etc. In winter Paradis des Praz offers snow rafting for the kids. There is a small restaurant that serves drinks and snacks. The area is behind the golf course in Les Praz, and is open from June 15th till September 10th between 10am and 6pm. After September 11th and all throughout the winter it's open on Wednesdays and weekends in the afternoon, and every afternoon during school holidays.
Montenvers _ Mer de Glace
Departing from Chamonix, this famous rack and pinion railway brings you to the Montenvers site at 1913 m. An imposing panorama of the Mer de Glace glacier, the Drus and the Grands Jorasses.
Aiguille du Midi
The most famous cable-car in the world will take you... ... after a dizzying aerial voyage, as far as the Aiguille du Midi (3842 metres). This high-mountain area, equipped for your comfort and safety, offers you a unique 360° panorama, taking in the majestic Mont-Blanc as well as the whole of its massif. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to see mountaineers linked by ropes trying to conquer one of these prestigious summits!
Parc de Losir Chamonix
For your comfort, leisure park Chamonix is modernizing. A new piste of luge (Alpine Coaster) run is in progress, replacing old ones. Expected opening July 3, 2011!
Tramway du MontBlanc
The Tramway du Mont Blanc runs from Le Fayet or St. Gervais station to the Nid d’Aigle station (2372 m), which overlooks the gorgeous Bionassay glacier. In the winter months, the train stops at Bellevue (1794 m). This 18 km route follows the south side of the Mont Blanc, and was build almost a century ago. In the winter, when the Tramway stops at Bellevue, you can ski down to Les Houches.

Spa - Les Bains de Lavey

Merlet Animal Park
The Merlet is a 20 hectares park where you can see local animals like the mountain ibex, chamois, marmots and deer. There is a video projection about the Alpine fauna and an exhibition on the history of the Merlet animal park. The park is open from 1st May to 30th September. May, June and September: open every day except Mondays, from 10am to 6pm July and August: open every day from 9.30am to 7.30pm. In winter we can book - but we have to make a reservation (min. 20 P)

Gorges de la Diosaz
A curiosity of the Chamonix valley, Les Gorges de la Diosaz is among the most beautiful in France! Les Gorges de la Diosaz offers a spectacular and unusual visit into a natural and wild environment. The shaded and well equipped footpath is easy and solidly implanted, sometimes into the steep rock face, sometimes even crossing the torrent by solid footbridges, allowing you to enter into the mysterious and picturesque landscape.

Lake Annecy
Turquoise coloured waters at 24 degrees, a pure lake in a mountain setting a temptation to travel if ever there was one...32 km of marvelous cycle paths along the waters edge. And the old centre in the heart of Annecy is amazing.
The Gorges of the river Fier
The Gorges du Fier are one of the most beautiful wonders of the Alps. You will walk along the canyon on a footbridge that is firmly afficed to the rock face, 25 m above the Fier.
The Castle of Menthon
Today, you can visit the castle which, since the time it was built, has been the home of the Menthon family.
Pont du Diable Gorges
Visited as early as 1893 and fitted out to be accessible for most people, the DEVIL'S BRIDGE GORGES offer the visitor a gripping picture of the power of erosion. The jagged profile of the sides and their shaded coulours give the whole site a weird appearance attenuated by the magnificent surrounding forests.

Dr Zhivago and his finely dressed horse
A familiar sight in Chamonix is Dr Zhivago and his finely dressed horse – snuggle amongst the blankets in the back of his sleigh and see the sights of Chamonix on a horse-drawn tour. Dr Zhivago can be found most days by the clock tower in the centre of town (outside Irish Coffee).
